Connecting Google Tag Manager to Picflow

With Google Tag Manager (GTM) integrated into Picflow, you can easily deploy and manage third-party scripts, analytics, and marketing pixels across your galleries. Link your GTM container from your Integrations settings in Picflow.

How to set up:

  1. Locate Google Tag Manager under “Analytics & Tracking.”

  2. Enter your Container ID (e.g. GTM-XXXXXXX).

  3. Save your changes.

  4. In your Google Tag Manager dashboard, publish your container to activate your tags.

💡 Read Google’s Tag Manager Setup Guide.

How It Works

Once configured, Picflow automatically includes your GTM container script on all your galleries. Any tags, pixels, or scripts managed in your GTM workspace, such as Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or LinkedIn Insight Tag will load seamlessly.

This allows you to:

  • Add or update tags without editing Picflow galleries.

  • Test and publish marketing pixels across all galleries from one dashboard.

  • Combine analytics and advertising tags to measure engagement and conversions.

Example Use Cases

Here are a few ways Picflow customers use Google Tag Manager:

  • Combine Analytics and Ads: Deploy both Google Analytics and Meta Pixel to track campaign performance.

  • A/B Test Gallery Links: Use event tracking to measure which galleries convert better.

  • Add Custom Scripts: Load third-party widgets or chat integrations via Tag Manager.

Best Practices

  • Keep your GTM workspace organized by grouping tags by purpose (e.g., analytics, ads, engagement).

  • Use GTM’s Preview Mode to test your tags before publishing.

  • Combine with the Google Analytics Integration for deeper insights.
