Workflow Credits

Learn what workflow credits are and how they are used in Picflow.

Updated this week

Overview

Workflow Credits are Picflow’s unit for actions that require significant compute behind the scenes. Today, that means video processing, but soon it will also cover image analysis, auto-tagging, workflows, and other advanced features.

  • Simple Balance. All features draw from a single monthly pool of credits.

  • Transparent Costs. Each feature consumes credits that you can track.

  • Future‑Proof. Upcoming features will list clear credit rates. No new pricing tiers.

Monthly Credits

Each plan comes with a pool of Workflow Credits that resets monthly. Unused credits do not roll over. Here’s how many credits you’ll receive on each plan:

  1. Go to Settings → Billing → Workflow Credits.

  2. Click Buy Credits and select a pack size.

  3. Confirm your purchase—credits appear instantly and expire at the end of the current billing cycle.

Credit Rates

Currently, only video processing is consuming credits. Upcoming features, such as auto-tagging and image generation, will have their own credit rates.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do credits roll over?

No. Credits reset at the start of each billing cycle to keep pricing straightforward.

Who can consume credits?

Only team members and guests who have edit access to a gallery—such as when they upload videos—will consume workflow credits.

What happens when we run out of credits?

Tasks that require credits pause until your next reset or until you purchase an add‑on.

When do credits renew?

Credits renew in monthly cycles, for both monthly and annual plans:

  • For monthly plans, your credits will renew when your next billing charge occurs.

  • For annual plans, your credits will renew every month on the same date as your plan’s billing date. For example, if your plan renews on June 16th, your credits will renew on the 16th of every month.

Any credits you haven’t used expire at the end of each renewal cycle.
