Automatic Image resizing

Learn what the best image size is for uploading and what happens after you upload an image.

Updated over a year ago

When you upload an image to picflow, we save the original file. However we also store resized copies (in JPG format) so that when a visitor visits your gallery, it loads super fast.

When your visitor downloads the image (when downloads are enabled), they can choose what quality they want to download, including the original file. Learn more about image downloads

We recommend uploading images that are at least 1920px wide so that they look super nice and crisp when being viewed. Learn more about image size recommendations and limits

The resized images that we store does not count towards your plans total capacity. We only count the file size of the uploaded image.
